Last weekend was full of a fun few days!
Friday night Brock, me and the boys went and celebrated Darin's 30th bday @ a surprise party thrown by his wonderful wifey, Darcy! Thanks for inviting us dear:) It was a good time and nice to see some people I haven't seen in so long! Darce, you did a GREAT job throwin' the party...(even though you got caught!) It's the thought that counts, right?;)
Saturday was the much anticipated visit of Jess & Mike! The newlyweds:) I was just in her wedding in November, and that was the last time I've seen her. They live in Chicago and came down for the weekend to Mike's parent's. Since they were only an hour away they came up for the day and for dinner! It was so awesome to just relax during the day and spend time hanging out. Jess finally got to see Isaac again! Last time was right after Isaac turned 1! And Kahler is 3 months older since she saw him last too, so that was just great to see her spend time with my boys:) While we were at the house we watched the movie Fireproof. It is such a great movie with a great lesson on marriages. Kinda corny acting, but other than that, we liked it!
After the movie we headed to my favorite place to go to for dinner, Hana Yori's! I get so excited every time we get to go eat here! The food was amazing, and of course the company of Mike and Jess was too! Thanks for much for a great time guys!!
Here's some pics of our little outing...
Oh and Jess wanted me to get around some Mary Kay for her, so I got to do her make-up before we went out too! Seriously, how beautiful does she look?! Kinda reminded me of some spring break memories when I would do all the gals' make-up before we went out on the town! Good times!!
The 4 of us: Brock, Me, Jess and Mike!

Sayin' our good-byes! It was such a great time! Can't wait til we do it again!
Sunday @ church was the 1st set of the series "He Is". This week it was "He is Insecure". Wow did that open up some discussion with my husband and I! But good ones! Made me realize one of the huge points Pastor Jim made: Men need affirmation. It's so true and I don't tell my husband enough how much I appreciate what he does for our family. He may be gone a lot but what he's doing is for our family and it's providing for us one way or another.
So thanks babe for being you and doing what you do for us every day! Love u!
So that was our fun filled weekend! Can't wait til this weekend for the Women's Retreat and Gymnastics Sectionals! Woo hoo!

I haven't had a jam packed weekend like that in a long time. Sounds like a blast.
Good point from the sermon too. SOmetimes I forget about how much my husband needs to hear good things from us.
